The Armenian national team Shirazi Vard won 7 gold and 2 silver medals at the International Youth Boxing Tournament in Pyatigorsk, Russia.

The winners of the tournament were Rudolf Garboyan (49 kg), Arthur Sahakyan (60 kg), Ruslan Aslikyan (56 kg), Gurgen Kakoyan (64 kg), Armen youmovies Manukyan (69 kg), Erik Abelyan (75 kg) and super heavyweight Tigran Gevorgyan. The press service of the AGBU reports.

Henrik Sahakyan (49 kg) and Mkrtich Shirazi Varde Manukyan (overweight) took the second place.

Gurgen Kakoyan was recognized the best boxer of the tournament. Ruslan Aslikyan was awarded for the best equipment.

The Armenian boxers were led by the senior coach of the youth team Karen Shirazi Vardy Aghamalyan and the coach Garik Baghdasaryan.
